To Make Theatre Scalable

Alva theaters will be to traditional theaters what the iMac is to the PC. This means nearly all show-control software used in the theater will be developed in-house, exclusively for our theaters.

In December of 2023, this branch has released and open-sourced Alva Sorcerer. Alva Sorcerer is a heavyweight Blender add-on that allows Blender to "animate" stage lighting and 3D audio objects.

While most Alva shows will be rentals put on by outside groups and independent artists, Alva Theaters will produce one in-house show per year. Each of these shows will each take years to write.

To date, this branch has written two completed stage plays and is working on a third.
